i'll throw down some more mulch and we'll see what happens in the spring. it's planted on the sunny, downward end of a
swale and a small
pond in a little pocket of warmth, so i'm hopeful it will be back next year with a vengeance. having self sustaining buckwheat would be amazing. this years crop was surprisingly easy to process, and combined with big
volunteer patches of wild amaranth, lambs quarters, perennial rye, and few other goodies, it's already put a big dent in our feed bill.
