yellow patches in grass

hi paul,

i recently fertilized my grass with ringer majority of grass turned green but i still see few yellow patches i do water the grass, what could be the reason??

What was the state of your yard before fertilizing? How often do you water? How much?

it was alright a little bit of weed, i first tried the scotts weed and feed, after a month i put down ringer, and then again after 6 weeks another round of ringer, but those 2 spots are still yellow, and i see on certains spots some grass gorwing faster than the others

I'd say the yellow spots are still recuperating from previous mistreatment, including your bout of weed-n-feed. Your lawn will take time to recover and adapt to the better way of doing things. On a percentage of the recommended rate, how much of the ringer did you spread each time? Do you have pets, or are neighbors' pets allowed to roam this area? Large wildlife? Can you attach pics?

Does it freeze in the winter there?

When you see a dog pee on your lawn, pour a lot of water on it right away and it won't burn/yellow spot.
