looking for another homesteader couple (or family) to share our land!

we are a couple of city kids from edmonton who bought a chunk of raw land (24 acres) in saskatchewan near the boreal forest. over the past 5 years we have built our own home and animal infrastructure from scratch - living off grid the whole time. currently we have a very large garden; a sizeable woodlot; 2 dairy does and a fertile buck; a small but happy chicken flock; one gorgeous half draft percheron/paint stallion trained to ride or drive; 3 dogs; 3 cats; 3 ferrets; and 2 totally adorable toddlers.

seems we have achieved our happy little homestead but we are sadly lacking in community and have lived an isolated life. (it being hard to connect with the locals due to differing backgrounds and age gaps) as such, we want to offer to split our land up and sell the northern 6 acres or so to another young family that also want to escape the city and become homesteaders. our land was classified organic before we bought the property and the northern half is going wild since we have no immediate use for it. we try to be organic as well and use no chemicals on the land - we have plenty of manure for fertilizing anyway! since we are thinking of asking a mere $10 000 surely there must be a number of urban refugees like us who are searching for just this kind of opportunity! (it would be a dream come true if you were musicians too so we could jam!)

I wanted to wish you the best of luck with this! My wife and daughter and I hope to have a similar situation, but our hearts are tied to Michigan. It would be so cool to have someone to jam with and share the commodities of the land with, we are always torn when choosing where to settle down (still a few years off), for the isolation you expressed would be difficult without others near.
