WHO WE ARE
We are a non-profit, permaculture-centered, cooperative community close to Eugene, Oregon.
We are not an ‘egalitarian’ community that provides for all of your basic needs.

Living here, we all know that we are ultimately responsible for our own financial needs, and that we need to generate that from outside of what our community can offer us.

There are approximately 40 to 60 of us living in a rural, dispersed village on 88 acres of forest, creek, fields, and meadows.

Residents put in approximately 20 Hours / Week towards Community Participation and Governance, some of which is paid work (as staff) and some of which offers rent reduction work credits (land-based work and maintenance).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Do you now or have you wanted to live in an Intentional Community or Eco-Village?

We are looking for a few residents, staff, and interns who can be really successful living here, happily working and participating in our Intentional Community..

Our housing options include single and double-occupancy dormitory rooms with shared kitchen and bathrooms, cabins with a variety of amenities and shared kitchens, a few ‘condo-like’ units we call the Solplex, and flexibility on you bringing your own RV, Trailer, Tiny Home, or other Dwelling Space to live in on an off-grid or on-grid site.

A NOTE ON COMMUNITY
You will be living and working in a rural intentional community, run cooperatively, focused on permaculture, non-violent communication, and self-governance.  We quite often provide access to produce from gardens and some firewood from our acreage.  We strive to also have a shared meal plan, and provide for your basic health and safety needs.  On property we also have a wood-fired sauna, wood-fired hot tub, and educational events that often include workshops, students, teachers, wellness practice, and dance.

My Husband, myself and our puppers ( fur baby) Luna. My name is Ruahann and husband Richard (Rick) are very interested In the opportunity to come be a part  of your community.a little about us my husband is a recently retired truck driver almost 40 trs in the industry as well as a musician,  I have experience in many areas, but most recently the administrative side of the medical field.  We both love nature and being in it and giving back. We have in the past and again more recently talked about wanting to either have or be a part of a community that works as a unit. To create self sustainable living environment. We're not really old nor really young lol. We still have a lot of years to give, but recently empty nesters.we can't really afford to buy land and do it alone. We would love to pay for either a cabin or the condo( style) dwelling. We currently live Just outside of Seattle and  are ready to get away from this area, I also am going to apply for your administrative position listed.  My email  is ruannabana12@gmail.com  looking forward to hearing back from someone and thank you for your consideration,  Ruahann Benn and Richard  Martin
