Celebrating my two organic allotments (community gardens) I’ve just said goodbye to

Hi all, I recently made the very hard decision to move on from the two organic allotments I invested so much in for nearly 8 years, in a bid to grow as a gardener and homesteader. They healed, delighted and inspired so much in me, and while it’s too painful to go through my photos of them just yet, I just wanted to share some of my ‘allotment’ mixed media artwork I created during this time (interspersed with my music and Paris-themed works). Thank you, Jane, for your encouragement and kind words. Moving on is always a risk, but it was time and I’ve taken cuttings and seeds of all the allotment species I could so I’ve come to see it as more like moving home. It’s never too late in life to do anything one wants, I believe. All the best, Gemma
