Southern
Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education has issued a call for research grant proposals by producers in the following areas: Beneficial Insect Habitat, Alternative Crops/Animals, Organic Agriculture, Sustainable Marketing Projects, Sustainable Grazing Systems, Soil Organic Matter Building/Protection/Management, Increasing Sustainability of Existing Farming Practices,
Appropriate Technology, and Agroforestry.
It's open to full- or part-time farmers, ranchers, and cooperatives in the southeastern US, with no restrictions on farm size or how long the applicant has been farming.
Proposal submission deadline is Nov. 11, 2022.
