I have been growing and researching the ground nut plant for over ten years now. If you have any questions regarding any aspect related to this species don't hesitate to email us or visit our website. If you want to purchase ground nut bulbs (ground nuts) for planting you can visit my website www.groundnutgardens.com or it's parent website www.maryrowlandson.com We also have a pamphlet with many color photos that covers all aspects of the ground nut: it's history, how to find it in the wild, how to grow it, cook it and finally some recent research findings on the ground nut's health and nutritional benefits. Our species of ground nut comes from southwestern New Hampshire. These New England ground nuts have been traced back by the Pequot Indian Museum in CT to be over 9000 years old. They are non GMO and come from wild stock. If grown in rich soil with plenty of sun and water for a few years they can reach the size of avocados but they are best eaten when they are around the size of large walnuts or a lime.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Warren Rasmussen
