How can I get rid of spotted or prostrate spurge?  It has taken over my front lawn in areas with full sun.  I recently bought some Ringer fertilizer and spread it out, even though I learned later it was probably a mistake to do it in summer.  I have Tall Fescue grass and clay soil in Charlotte, NC.  We have gotten a fair amount of rain this year, but not consistently (we aren't in drought like last 2 years).  I mulch my clippings and even shred my oak leaves back into the lawn in the fall for the organic matter.  I have also aerated and overseeded the past 2 years, but have not limed or anything this year.

I am not an expert on lawn care. But I would like to know where you bought the Ringer Fertilizer in Charlotte. I've been trying to get it and having no luck so far.

Thanks in advance

I wasn't able to find a dealer in Charlotte, so I ordered it online (direct from manufacturer) and paid an arm & leg for shipping (maybe $16.00).  Supposedly, they will ship to an authorized dealer for free, but I haven't checked into that.  You would have to find a Doitbest, Ace or truevalue and see if they'd order it for you.  I think you just need the item #.
