Hello

I am in the need of something to get stuf transported over small distances that are to long to walk (let's say up to 5km).
As I am living in a village centre, wood and some zone 2-3 things that I can't do at the home garden has to be transported in.

A car + trailer is not an option for me, but a pony (shetlander) or a donckey would be nice if possible. There doens't seem to be a forum for this kind of 'critters' so I'm posting it here. It's bigger than goats!
I'm looking for advise on working animals. Pulling carts and other contraptions to work on the land, maybe even pull out smaller logs.

I estimate to have 40 are (4000m²) available for this animals but I have to make an agreement with the current user and the rest of the familly (I'm not gonna explain Belgian inherritance laws, but 5 people own rights to it). So before I do that, I have to be sure I can handle it. A neighbour is willing to get me up to date with the actual work, but not with all the permy ideas and experiments I want to undertake :p

You are HERE! The other map is obviously wrong. Better confirm with this tiny ad:
