For a number of years now I have been watching TA Outdoors. He is a bushcrafter who now owns his own woodland and is beginning to manage it in the traditional manner. Last year he began laying a hedge, and built a little cabin. Before that, he built a series of historical buildings, starting with a Viking Longhouse. I've learned a lot over the years. Oh, and he often includes some delicious camp cooking.

In this video he and a friend are installing the wattle for a wattle and daub house. Note how he assembles the hurdles, and then drives the stakes into the ground. The woven sticks of the hurdle stay in place while the stakes sink.
