Moss Pot - Will It Maximize House Plant Air Purification?

I know that house plants clean the air in your house.  Which is great.

I have read that the leaves do a little bit, but the root mass does a lot more, so the type of pot you're using may have a significant impact on how much it can purify air.  I bet there are some good studies about this out there.  

What do you all think - which kind of pot will result in the most air purification?  What about a hanging moss pot in a high-traffic place?  Would that maximize air flow?
