The Complete Tightwad Gazette-- my mother got this book (used) when it was only a couple of years old, and I have it too now, when more than a generation has passed since its publishing. I am starting this thread to compare notes with people to chuckle about how much things have changed since our childhood, and chuckle more about how living well--thriftily--has stayed the same!
