Hi.
I'm tinkering with a design for a rocket pizza oven, and i'm a bit confused about how long the horizontal burn chamber should be? I've attached some sketches to illustrate.
1. Long chamber
2. Short chamber
3. Essentially no burn chamber.
I guess it's all to do with mixing gases, so would fins inside the flue help?
I'm aiming to make it as hot as possible - so would something like Fig 4 work? More wood/ air = hotter?
Any thoughts, comments, ideas would be most appreciated.
Hi Colin. I've been tinkering with this idea for a while as well. I began with an earth oven as described in Kiko Denzer's book and now have integrated a rocket stove into it.
