Good evening! I just had a good day planting stuff from the Lenape, Meskwaki and Shawnee peoples, all were around during Tecumseh's time till 1813 and things gone downhill from there. The Wabash river was used as a trade route for many years to now. I wanna find out which plants were important to
Native Americans in the Wabash during Tecumseh's time when he settled in Prophetstown and during the treaties of Greenville in 1793 and the Treaty Of St Mary's in 1818. Any idea what the Lenape ethnobotany was like around the White river area back then in places like Muncie? Any of you also been to Conner Prairie before to see what a Lenape garden was like back then to find out what Lenape life was like back then? Please reach me if any of you have anything to add. Take care!
