Hi I am a 37 year old male and am in the Pacific North West ISFJ-T

I am looking for someone to share my dream of building something meaningful and lasting that that allows us to live comfortably without needing to rely on grocery stores amazon etc. I think that most of what you need can be found around you if you look hard enough. Im a believer in helping your neighbors in anyway you can.

I want to build a house my/our selfs. I have plans drawn up but am always open to suggestions. My current line of work has taught me that feedback is the most important part of a project and that being flexible makes everything go smoothly. I am an over planner, I form the plan I would like to follow and have at the very least 2-3 steps of what if solutions thought of if not laid out. I currently have my eye on some land just outside of Glacier NP in Montana. Nothing huge (~5 acres ) but enough to have animals and a reasonable garden. I have no desire to buy/take over someone else's place unless it is just going to be used for storage. I currently don't have a time frame for starting but sooner rather than later would be great.
I'm open to all types of homesteading but my ideal would be semi off grid (at least to start)

I'm looking for a woman near my own age that's up for the adventure.  I am skilled in many aspects of building a homestead but am looking for someone that has more of the "soft skills". (garden planning, preserving etc) I am a fast learner and always eager to help.
I am extremely quiet and reserved almost to the point of being a hermit. If I open up and start talking to you I feel comfortable and that doesn't happen often. Im not a complainer and rarely ask for things. I believe in buy once cry once.

Im not political but i think a Communalism would fit well with who i am (not Communist)

im about 6 ft tall, ~ 160 lbs graying hair, reasonably fit ( and getting fitter )
Im in addiction recovery and want someone who supports me in my goal for that. Im in addiction recovery and want someone who supports me in my goal for that.
Im a giver and provider but want and respect a woman who is able to provide for themselves.

I love fishing, hiking, exploring, road trips, building/fixing things, solving problems, listening to music and sports.

A perfect no real cost date to me would be to drive further into the wilderness on a clear night, lay on a blanket and watch for shooting stars while talking about our dreams and goals.

I'm open to talking to anyone, if I'm slow to respond please be patient. This is new to me and I'm nervous. If you just have thoughts or suggestions on my rough plan for the homestead id like to hear about those too.

Hi there. Your post is over a couple years old so before I start typing away I thought I'd just check to see if you were still searching or had met someone?
