Wow, some of those explanations really are a stretch. Bombing runs that sent jellyfish high enough they landed 50 miles away? Frog innards? That's a lot of dead frogs. Air plane droppings? That's a loty of poo. The human pathological need for answers is definitely in display in those reports. Sometimes you have to be sane enough to say: "I don't know!" or sane enough to accept that no one knows.

My money is still on the flesh-dissolving blob.
