In this episode, I talk about the medicinal properties of Skullcap and I give you my "from scratch" recipe for nachos... which is worth it for the cheese sauce alone... REAL CHEESE!

Wow, I just listened to your podcast and really enjoyed it! I was very interested in learning more about skullcap because my mom used to give it to us as teenagers if we couldn't sleep or felt especially stressed about something. I found it worked very well for helping me sleep and reducing anxiety. Skullcap used to be my "go-to" supplement for relaxing and curing insomnia.

After I left home, a few years later, I looked for it in health food stores and was unable to find it. I think the stores may have stopped carrying it because some thought it was dangerous, I believe. I don't remember the exact details, but it's nice to hear that it is well-recognized and safe.

Just wondering, too, is it something that grows in the wild, that one could possibly forage? And as far as getting seeds, I wonder if I could somewhere in Canada.

So, again, thanks for a great podcast. Are you also listed on Apple I-tunes? That is usually where I listen to my podcasts. Have a great night.

Thanks - gad you enjoyed the show!  Yes, you should be able to forage for skullcap in Canada and it should grow well from seed.  Last I checked, my show was on Apple I tunes.. I hope it still is!
