Dear community!
Anybody from Colombia or with the mood to go to Colombia for a while, who has experience in water-polyculltures? I would love to initiate a bigger project, that would include various farms!!!
You can contact me directly at ecoshalacolombia@gmail.com. Thanks a lot,
Marion

Though I don’t think this project would be for me it does sound like an amazing opportunity for somebody! I am curious as to what you mean by polyculture pond though… I am familiar with the concept of a polyculture in the sense of Gardening but I’m not sure how one would implement a structured polyculture in a pond setting.

Hi Frank! Well what I refer to with a "polyculture pond" - is first of all pond with different depths, plants, forms and connections to other ponds and by this creating habitat for different species (inside and outside the water). At least here close I don't know anybody who has pond systema like this ... they have classical one fish-type fish ponds and rectangular and deep water reservoirs ... no creative and open polycultural habitats ... that is what I was thinking about ...
