Hi, I am new to the permis forum. I've been doing much reading here, and I'm grateful for everyone's insight, but now I am looking for some hands-on experience. Is anyone here with a permaculture farm interested in having an intern this season? Or do you know of possible opportunities? All advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Mike,

I am the farm manager at Cedar Springs Permaculture Farm in central Utah. We do have a 3 month internship available for this season, with an optional extension to stay longer.
Here is the link to our site with all the details http://cedarspringspermaculturefarm.com/internships.html

It says that the internship starts on April 15 but we can be flexible on that date if necessary. We are more interested in making sure that we are a good fit for each other than just filling spaces.

I am also aware of another opportunity in southern Utah with Heartwater Farm. John and Rhonda Flatberg are the owners of that farm and are good friends of mine. My understanding of what they are offering this year is more of a work exchange kind of opportunity. If you are looking for a shorter "internship" this might be a good option.

Hope this helps
