We have a really nice Saanen buck for sale, and he needs to go quickly. We are picking up a Nubian buck in a few weeks and need to make room for him ASAP. The Saanen is a proven stud, providing us with some gorgeous purebred doelings this year. Unfortunately, he is now closely related to most of our does, so he has exceeded his usefulness. He has been listed for sale for a few weeks now, but there are so few Saanen breeders here in the Flathead, that we haven't seen much interest. He is a great buck, and we don't want to eat him, but it's coming down to that at this point, if we can't find a place for him shortly. He comes from really good dairy stock. His mother is our main dairy goat, and produces 3.5-4 quarts a day for us on a homemade grain mix. You can see she has a great udder in the attached photo. His sister is already a great producer with this being her first freshening year, and is our second-line dairy goat. We would be willing to deliver around the Flathead, or meet you halfway if you are coming from the Missoula area. We are asking $100 for the buck, or trade for useful items. We are open to ideas.

I've spread it over a few forums so more people see; and hopefully people know goat people in your area!
It'd be a real shame to have to eat him.

Post it on Craig's list with pictures and maybe you'll get some response.

Beautiful goat but this thread is 7 years old now. I'm guessing it's no longer available.
