My professional and personal background for 50 years is natural medicine, with focus in plant medicine and hands on bodywork. Now, semi-retired, I own a home in the historic district of Las Cruces, NM.

I am seeking a live-in apprentice. The details and terms can be negotiated. In general, the apprentice will pay rent for her private room and bath with private entrance and share the home kitchen and living spaces. She will have access to herbs, materials and supplies, vast information in personal notebooks and literature, as well as weekly or bi-weekly hands on workshops.

Approximately a quarter acre is planted in permaculture style and is essentially an urban food and medicine forest, including native plants.

Too many details to discuss here. Please contact if you are seeking such an experience.

Judy, welcome to the forum/

We had a lady who recently wanted to become a registered herbalist.

Would you have any advice to offer her?

I hope you find the person you are looking for.
