Has anybody utilized Winecap inoculated bunker spawn?
I've been pondering creating some temporary soil building berms to introduce to a hillside and have been recently reading
Mycelium Running by Paul Stamets. In the book, specifically about mycoremediation work, that bunker spawn would be utilized en mass to cover an area in mycelium. I'm thinking about filling burlap sacks full of woodchips and inoculating those with Stropharia rugosoannulata. These sacks will be placed halfway up the hillside in semi-excavated spots and then tons of woodchips would be distributed on the hillside.
Could it just be extra steps instead of just placing sawdust spawn on a chipped hillside? Maybe... I just think a heavier denser object will also help act as a erosion reducer and hopefully act as a stopgap for seeds and good stuff to not instantly be swept down the hillside.
Let me know if this sounds reasonable
