Is anyone out there in the South West Pacific starting on their PEP/PEA/PEM?
Are you struggling with pounds/inches/gallons?
What are some of the species these people are on about?
Do you want to meet with other people on this journey without getting on a Trans continental airplane?

If you have any of these burning questions this is the forum to chat about them.

I'm just getting on the SKIP/PEP bandwagon and would love to start a chat about how we can make this exciting program work in a New Zealand context.

Talk soon!

Hi Evan!
I'm not in Australasia, but appreciate that Permaculture according to Paul is not structured in a way that suits all nations. Maybe you want to start a PEN (Permaculture according to New Zealand) or whatever, as Mike has with PEM. I'd start by going through the badges and identifying which can be just carried over - most of the 'nest' ones are universal I guess. If you haven't got access to a particular plant or tool, see what experience Paul was trying to get people to demonstrate and whether it is appropriate in Australasia and how it could be done in a different way. Maybe there are elements that you would find important there that Paul does not in Missoula that need adding in - like wind protection for example.
Mike will tell you that it is a lot of work to set up a new PEX! But if there are elements of PEP that you need help interpreting just shout up and usually people will give advice pretty quickly.
