We are preparing to tear up and start over in our backyard and are looking for a consultant in Southern CA.
We have a small backyard, and figure that is a place to learn. Long term, we plan to purchase about 20 acres out of state, but for now we are "stuck" here

We have a little experience in traditional vegetable gardens, but that is it. We have been slowly learning about permaculture and want to incorporate this in our back yard, but there is so much to learn and we have very little spare time.

Between work and more work, we have little time to invest in doing this alone and want to hire someone to kind of jump start us with a plan/design.

we are looking for an expert in the field (not someone with a certificate that just completed a course) and would appreciate anyone that can point us in the right direction.

Thank you in advance
Janna

Hi there!
I went to the San Diego Permaculture Convergence this March and I heard a talk given by the owner of this Permaculture Design Company , La Loma.
They are based in Pasadena, not too far...and if so, maybe they could recommend someone? I have seen their work before and they do an amazing job and work on various types of projects...
