Happy Saturday gang! Blake wants to address the cicada situation in the Midwest this year beginning in Illinois where there will be many storming in later this spring or this summer. It's gonna be devastating for our shrubs and trees, seedling types. How can we combat cicadas swarming our way into our yards, food forests and other places where we have edibles. If any of you have any ideas on how we combat cicadas in the Midwest or throughout the world, please shoot me here so we can have a comprehensive plan to stop these rascals from eating up our trees and shrubs from our orchards. Take care!

Hi Blake. We may be getting this brood down here too. There was a short discussion of Brood X in 2021 here.
