I'm in the Portland area at the moment and am looking for a community, a work trade situation (temp is fine for either), or to work with someone to start a community or garden/farm project

I'm 48M, single parent (very smart, independent, trustworthy 16M) with years of experience in new paradigm permaculture, and organic cultivation, mushroom cultivation (have lab), and culturing various microbes for use in horticulture/agriculture.

I've innovated no-till techniques for building, amending, and aerating soil; bringing the soul and intelligence of natures soul to the crop site to work with in order to produce healthy high yielding crops that are resistant to pests, fungus, and extremes in climate; I've innovative ways of setting up large gardens/micro farms without digging, tilling, weeding, or disturbing the soul at all even at planting time.

I'd be interested in an urban, suburban, rural or wilderness, but specifically in the Portland/Vancouver/Columbia Gorge region.

Thanks!

Welcome to permies!  Y'all sound great.  There are several cohousing communities in Portland itself, a couple of coliving communities in one or two houses, same with up the Gorge.  We're in Clackamas County down here in West Linn and there's not much down our way yet unfortunately, we're trying to stay out of Multnomah Co, been there, done that most of my life.  Washington Co. has a couple of nice cohousing communities and there's a farm out on the edge of Sherwood which I've heard mixed reviews of re. community-making.  I hope y'all can find a great fit.

That is so lame! You now get a slap from this tiny ad!
