Good evening! I wanna learn more about Indian or Blood and other types of peach trees Native Americans use to have centuries ago after the Spanish and French came to America centuries ago. I'm considering growing one this year to help honor my grandparents and my family ancestors in Mississippi and Oklahoma. Has the Indian Blood been grown not just by the Cherokee, but by other tribes a long time ago? Please reach me to help make this topic more edifying. Good night

From ~Trees of Antiquity website,

-"Indian Blood Cling peach is a large, clingstone fruit with dark crimson skin and flesh. Red-fleshed peaches were recognized in the early 17th century France; the Spanish brought them to America, where Native Americans and colonists grew seedlings. Distinctive, tart flavor when fully ripe. Indian Blood Cling peach tree provide beautiful and delicious pickled peaches. Excellent for eating fresh, pies and preserves. High yield, dependable. Please see below for further information on our heirloom peach trees for sale."
