The Institute for Bioregional Studies (see: http://www.ibspei.ca) is seeking a mature and experienced permaculture practitioner during the summer of 2010, on Prince Edward Island (Atlantic Canada).
This working-vacation experience requires a minimum of 4 hours per day, four days per week in exchange for rooming space.
Plans are to develop a new garden, renovate a shed into a livable cottage, build a cob tool shed with a green roof and possibly build an attached solar greenhouse and a 300' picket fence along with regular routine maintenance and grounds keeping.
Position available possibly from June though August. A commitment of at least two weeks is a must.
Contact us by email, ibs_pei@yahoo.com, with resume and references.
