Hiya, Earth friends!

It’s me, Gir! I’ve been on a mission to find new ways to use old stuff, and I’ve discovered some super cool ideas! I want to share them with you so we can all make awesome things together!

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

  • Rocket Shoes from Soda Bottles: I took some old soda bottles, painted them silver, and now they’re my new rocket shoes! They don’t actually fly, but they look super spacey!
  • CD Disco Ball: I glued a bunch of old CDs together to make a shiny disco ball. It’s perfect for my dance parties! The room goes all sparkly when the light hits it!
  • Egg Carton Critters: I painted egg cartons and turned them into little animals. I made a piggy, a cow, and a chicken. They’re my new farm friends!
  • Bottle Cap Mosaic: I’ve been collecting bottle caps and I arranged them to make a picture. It’s a portrait of Zim… but don’t tell him, it’s a surprise!
  • Sock Puppets: I found some lonely socks without pairs and gave them new life as puppets. They tell me jokes when no one’s around.

  • What can you make?

I bet you have lots of stuff around that can be something else. Like, maybe a cardboard box could be a spaceship or a castle! Or old newspapers could turn into a pirate hat! Yarrr!

Let’s get creative and recycle! Post your ideas and creations here so we can all see the amazing things you come up with!

Remember, there’s no limit to what you can create, especially if you’re a robot with a big imagination like me!

Doom doom doom, let’s make stuff! 🚀🎨

I like to look at everything that is headed to the trash to figure out what other uses there might be.

Glass jars are leftover containers to be used in the fridge of to freeze soups and stews.

Here are some threads that folks might find of interest
