Howdy,

A group and I are building near Ephrata Washington and are not able to find clay. Crazy ain't it? Where I am from in the Northeast, there is too much of the stuff. Anyways, does anybody know of where to locate clay? feel free to email dillon.mark.stanger AT gmail DOT com (there, that should trick those robots

Thanks,
DIllon

Dillon Stanger : Take a look at my answer to Jennifer Dunaway In her Cob Forum Thread ' Where do you get your Sand ' ! Though I too live in the Northeast, I'm
sure this will help ! Good luck with your project ! Happy Cob Dancing ! For small amounts ask the local highway dept., they probably have a protocol to check clay
banks in Road cuts due to frequent washouts ! A. L.

Dillon -- we're in a similar situation with the project we're working on. A local excavator had some clay set aside for us, but that seems to have fallen through... did you find a good source?
