How to get access to Building a Better World in Your Backyard Kickstarter stuff?

Hi,

I took part of the Building a Better World in Your Backyard kickstarter, but cannot get access to the secret link that was sent to me to get all the additional goodies as part of the books.  Maybe it was because my kickstarter account was registered with sgreszcz at yahoo dot com, rather than my permies account which is sgreszcz at gmail dot com.

I've not been able to find anyone who can help me (girbot at richsoil dot com) or via kickstarter.  Can someone help me please?

I did some research ...

First, I need to tell you that kickstarter has locked us out of the backer info for that kickstarter.  They have a new thing where after a year they lock out the creators to (I think) protect the backer info from being abused.  So that kickstarter has gone well past that lockout time.  

But I think I figured it out.  I think your kickstarter account is set up with a yahoo email address and your permies account is set up with a gmail email address.  I think you are wise to move away from yahoo.  

When you are logged in, look at the top of this page.  Click on "my profile" and then select "email preferences".  Where it says "Add secondary email" put in your yahoo email address.   If you look at "my stuff" at the top you should see all your goodies.


Now you might be thinking "how was i supposed to know all that?"  Well, when we sent you stuff in 2019, an email was automatically sent to you (to your yahoo address, which you probably, wisely, ignored) with a quick link to do all this for you automatically.  

Thank you sir!  This works great and I can get at the goodies.

I'm finally getting off my backside and getting involved with my kids in "Building a Better World" in our backyard.  The extra copies of the books are being circulated in the local schools and community.

Kudos to you and Shawn for creating such an accessible, focused book on how start making an impact without getting overwhelmed.
