Actinidia Arguta kiwi and apple trees?

After reading "Restoration Agriculture" and around the same time getting some more small kiwis, I planted two next to apple trees. One male is planted next to a large apple tree that is perhaps on its last legs that is next to 6 other kiwis that I will build a trellis for. An Issai (supposedly self fertile) kiwi is planted 50 meters away under a smaller apple tree.

After reading some posts here, I am thinking that maybe this is not a good idea, but I wonder, since these apples get pruned, if the kiwis can't co-exist by being pruned with the apples?

The whole do-nothing, food-forest sort of thing will come later, once we've finished buying some land next to ours this fall. For the area that they are in now, it is a sort of garden.

The male companion for Issai is Flowercloud it too is 1/10th the size of a regular 100ft kiwi plant and it flowers the same or next year.
And at 10ft it can co-exist with your pruned fruit trees.

In a regular kiwi orchard. the 100ft is grown just like grapes and is prune every year. They normally alternate between 2 or 3 "branches".
so it grows from the root in yr1 and then in yr2 it is prune and yr it fruits and is cut back to the "root"

Is it the case that each variety of A. Arguta needs a specific male? I've noticed that the nursery I order from offers some named variety males, but I thought that had to do with the flowers that are produced. I have planted right now Issai, Jumbo, Ken's Red, and Anasaya a. arguta kiwis, plus the unnamed male.

I also didn't know that Issai would be dwarfed. Is Flowercloud the male companion because it is short? Will Issai pollinate from other a. arguta male plants?

I still need to build trellises for the other. They are in two rows of three, nearby the larger, older apple tree that I planted the male under.

Not counting the regular fuzzy or even the extra hardy arctic kiwi there is still another 4 species of kiwi.

Issai will pollinate from another male. The flowercloud male is actually a hardy kiwi + arctic kiwi cross.
The reason why it is recommended for Issai is because they both start producing flowers the year you get them, not 4 years later.

And if I remember correctly. Fizzy and Hardy Kiwi will pollinate each other aka their blossoms time overlap.
I know that my arctic and hardy kiwi dont really overlap. My arctic is already dropping blossom and my hardy has not even open the blossoms as of yet.
I now have 2 male hardy kiwi, I think I am going to kill one of them and get a male arctic because I lost the one that I had.

Do you know if I were to take cuttings of the kiwis now (June, outside high 88°F/30°C) if they would take root? I have zero experience with rooting cuttings of any plant, but two of the kiwis that are growing well have a lot of "extra" growth, that if I could make into extra kiwi plants would be great.
