Wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Deb Dahlberg-Rowland.  I am a Career Realtor with 24+ years experience working with Buyers and Sellers in three southwestern states, Colorado, Arizona, and here in Texas since 2005.  I have experience with eco friendly/green building styles, alternative homes, farms, ranches, and rural residential properties.  My husband and I built a beautiful earthship  in time for Y2k.  This is where I learned about living off grid, and being self sufficient.  I bought and sold many homestead, and alternative lifestyle properties in those years.  We had to give up that lifestyle, and the house my husband had built for us, to move home as both of our parents were suffering serious health issues which broke my heart.  Since then we not been able to return to living in an alternative home but I have continued to pursue self sufficiency.  We currently live in a 1890's historical home on 3 acres in a tiny city - Fayetteville - in Fayette County Texas.  Here we are utilizing homesteading principles.  We have chickens, horses, a huge garden, and are in the process of developing a 3/4 acre food forest - when I am not out helping my Clients buy, or sell, their properties.  My goal as a Realtor is to help my Clients meet their real estate goals, be they large or small.

Hey, welcome to the forum.

I am in the Hill country almost in West Texas.

Your picture presents a nice homestead with all your animals.

Best wishes.

Oooo, ah, that's how it starts. Later there's running and screaming and tiny ads.
