Random beaver pictures.....First off, I got these pics through my beaver trapping. I mostly leave them alone, because they're neat critters. But when they do stuff like come up in people's front yards and chew down $1500 trees, people get pissed and want them gone yesterday.
First...I think beaver chewed trees are beautiful.

A typical den around here in moving water is going to be up under the rootwad of a collapsed tree. During the fall, there will be a feedbed of sticks in front of it, otherwise you might never know it's there.

A few huge dams (for around here, at least). The second pic even has a lodge in the back of the pond, which is quite the rarity around here.
