Hi All;
Normally I get my weaners in late April or early May.
This year there is a shortage of weaners in the inland Northwest, and high prices to match!
I was lucky to get these two as all the rest were already sold.
The next batch will not be ready until late June!

Piggie Heaven is lush and green, the water is clear and cold and the food bucket is full of grain!
For the next 5 months, they will be happy piggies!

A trailer load of Black gold compost for our raised Hugle beds.
We have five now and next season the 6th will be dug.

It sounds like the pigs are going to have a great few months in Piggie Heaven! I love the idea of using compost for your Hugelkultur beds too. It’s amazing how these sustainable practices come together to create a healthy environment for both the pigs and your garden. Looking forward to hearing more about how the raised beds do next season!
