We have a beautiful 20-acre property in central NY state near Cooperstown. We have one dwelling that houses long-term tenants and a tiny house we're about to launch as a short-term rental. We'll also be developing gardens and other features, with a focus on healing spaces, native plants, regenerative gardening, permaculture, and organic/holistic living. We're looking for a caretaker and host for the property.
Duties will include:
Grounds maintenance including mowing and weeding
Basic small maintenance and repairs of buildings on the property
Being available to address problems for both short-term and long-term tenants
Turnover of short-term rental space including cleaning and resetting supplies
Helping to build/establish/plant new features on the property
Compensation will be a combination of percentage of profits from the short-term rental and hourly wage for other property management duties.
We are especially interested in folks who are either local to the area or would want to bring their camper/RV/tiny house and live in it on-site. Water, electric, and internet would be provided.
