Aapbotay Busty, Mineral Springs, Darjeeling, India
Instructors: Rico Zook & Malvikaa Solanki

This dynamic and engaging course guides the participant in developing their unique personal style and ability to facilitate the learning experience for others. As a class, we create a safe setting of active learning and build confidence through preparing and co-teaching multiple presentations providing essential and experiential practice opportunities. This is an engaged experience, with lots of information shared. We keep the process relaxed while learning about learning and having fun.

Mineral Springs, Dabaipani is an internationally certified organic area and fair-trade labeled collective of 456 small farmers since 2002. The farmers are joined together as Mineral Spring Sanjukta Vikas Sanstha, a farmers cooperative that collectively markets small farmer’s organic tea in the international market, which is grown as a polyculture crop. This course is located in one of these traditional villages in the beautiful Darjeeling hills, amongst 1,000's of acres of forest garden, with participants staying with local farm families, and our classroom is the village community centre.

Cost: Indians rs.30,000, International & NRI rs.36,000  ~$430
Accommodation is Homestay w/local farm family
