We welcome you to this 7 day
experience during which we explore
permaculture gardening and how to create landscapes of nourishing foods, beautiful spaces , and enriched bio-diversity.
This course balances theory with plenty of hands on practical activity and design exercises. We include field trips to the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Central Balkan mountains, with habitat study, soil sampling and plant identification.
At the end of the course each participant will create their own design and present it to the group. We encourage our guests to create designs of their own gardens or future projects , whether that be a balcony garden or a broad acre
project.
What we cover during the course can be easily applied to existing gardens. So whether you are new to growing or a seasoned vet , we are sure you will enjoy this unique approach !
The course is hosted at our 7 yr old site in Shipka, Bulgaria nestled on the southern slopes of the mountains surrounded by beautiful wildlife with incredible biodiversity. Our garden provides a good example of
permaculture gardening in practice and you can expect to eat the fruits, vegetables and herbs straight from earth.
