Do you want to learn Permaculture with folks in your bioregion and build connections, friendships, and community that lasts? Learn with 11 teachers on an emerging design site of forests, meadows, and wetlands?

Do you want to learn Permaculture as a design science that is boots-on-the-ground and hands on?
Experience animal systems, share knowledge/skills, and learn how to pay for your systems? Create a meaningful and authentic design for a community in need while honing your own permaculture skills?

The We Are All Farmers Permaculture Institute is a non-profit (registered in North Carolina) committed to food and energy responsibility through permaculture for all people in the Appalachian-Piedmont region. Our hands-on PDC gets you out in the field!

Join Permaculture instructor Edward Marshall and non-profit innovator Crystal Cook and NINE other instructors for a diverse and inspiring PDC focused on defining, acquiring, and implementing hands-on skills in permaculture.

PDC Certificate Classes are held Saturdays and Sundays in the fall of 2013 on the following dates:

Sept. 7 & 8
Oct. 5 & 6
Oct. 19 & 20
Nov. 2 & 3
Nov. 23 & 24

Camping available for free on the farm. Hotels located 15 minutes away in four directions (check Statesville, Wilkesboro, Yadkinville, Elkin).

1st Day’s morning of each weekend session will be theoretical, followed by lunch and afternoon practicum on our farm and on regional sites. This fall we will focus the design site on a community in need, fulfilling the permaculture ethic of “care of people.” Each group will also produce a Permaculture Design and Project, re-envisioning this site through application of permaculture principles. THIS YEAR’S SITE IS A COMMUNITY GARDEN IN NEED IN FORSYTH COUNTY! You have a chance to make a permanent permaculture difference!

Call (704) 592 2557 or email weareallfarmers@gmail.com.

We Are All Farmers is a registered North Carolina non-profit.

Glad to see someone offering a weekend PDC relatively near us...In Lincolnton NC. It makes it much more accesible to those of us working full time.

Is your PDC purple or brown??

You're about an hour from us....Come on by...you are also welcome to visit. We are always glad to have folks check out what we are up to...and to get to meet like-minded people.

As for "PDC" -- not purple or brown, but green...
