Gleying with Javelinas

I live in southern az southeast of Tucson. I have a dry pond on the property and was thinking of using the wild havelinas that inhabit this area. Any thoughts about this. Also I was wondering if using pig manure would render the pond unfit for swimming. I assume over time the bad bacteria and parasites would be neutralized by the anerobic process.

I guess you could use bait to lure them into the pond if that is allowed in your state.

Javelina are fierce animals so to me you would also risk injury to self/other animal that you might have.

Another draw back is that your land now has a colony of Javelina using your pond when you might want to and also risk damage to any crops you might have.

I wouldn't really want to attract or retain javelinas on my property. They're not so much wallowing critters like pigs, but they like to congregate in brushy spots. They're extremely nasty when cornered and can tear up dogs badly.
