Hi folks,

My lady and I are taking a road trip this October up the Northern California part of US-101 in to southern Oregon and we're interested if any locals have any input on permaculture related stops along the way.

Here's the route:

The plan is to spend a couple of days meandering up the 101 (hitting up the redwoods/Humboldt + Mendocino county, etc) and then heading up to southern OR and staying a night or two in Ashland before coming home (CA gold country) down the 5. We would love to meet some like minded folks.

Thanks!

Heey.

My wife and I have land in Palermo, which we are hoping to establish a permaculture farm on. We're currently in South Australia for a while. However, if you're nearby... Chaffin Family Orchards is north of Oroville - http://www.chaffinfamilyorchards.com/

Check it out!

Hey Scoot,

We actually don't live far from Oroville normally (we're in Nevada County, right next door)! What are you and your wife up to in S. Australia?

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like SOPI in Ashland might be a perfect place to visit for a couple on a whirlwind tour. Sadly, doesn't look like they have any courses around the time we'll be there, but we could probably take a tour.

I found these guys too (from this very forum) - www.hightidepermaculture.com ...but I'm not sure that they have anything we could go visit though.

Whoever got anywhere by being normal? Just ask this exceptional tiny ad:
