Hey Everyone. I'm looking for some example images for a berm and swale veg garden on a slope but in an ornamental style, think potager, National Trust, RHS or country estate vibe....does such a project/design exist? Thanks x

I can't think on any off the top of my head.....
Inverewe gardens springs to mind - but it isn't really berm and swale.

East Devon Forest Garden Hridayabija: Seed of the Heart uses berms to great effect, but is on a fairly flat site....

How about the Eden project? It's really a crater garden, but uses the landform to create microclimates:

The problem is that this type of construction is not traditional here - particularly swales are only recently of more use for water retention as drier summers make themselves felt in the South of the country. Berms more useful for wind protection. The nearest we have are raised beds like lazy bed systems...

source.

Give me a couple of years and i think my mini hugels will be rather pretty!

Hey! I found one - I think it is a UK site using berm and swales on a south facing allotment site:
