Hi Everyone!

We are doing another natural building workshop, this time a 5x8 strawbale, cob and wattle&daub house!

Its in Góis, Central Portugal, near Coimbra, in the mountains of the amazing river Ceira.

So, heres the information about the course:

Natural building opens the doors of a whole new world where we learn to work together and take responsabilities of our existence.

We will learn to draw and build a house using materials as straw, chestnut wood, clay, sand, lime and shale (xisto); and techniques as strawbale, bulkhead, cob and natural plasters.

A theorical and practical workshop, lasting 8 days, in which we'll have the oportunity to visit other eco-builded constructions in the Ceira valley

Where: Vale do Ceira, Góis
Facilitator: Nuno Mamede
When: 31 de Agosto a 8 de Setembro
Price: 400€ (350€ for bookings until the 17 of august), that include tuiton, camping conditions, food, matterials and acess to tools and other resources during the course.
