As a spin off from the UK 'seed train' on the going to seed discourse site, we are in discussion about setting up a seed library to store and distribute seed mixes (as opposed to single varieties) in the UK. If you're interested in joining in Julie has put some information together here.

Just sending in your own seeds and receiving a mix back will be enough for some people. Others might want to get more involved and send seeds back at the end. Some people might want to collaborate on a certain crop. It’s all good. To me, the first step is to get that first packet of diverse seeds.

The more the merrier!

Hi Nancy,

I've finally made it onto Permies!

Seed Share UK
I hope I've done it right, although I couldn't work out how to put it in both UK & Ireland and Seeds & breeding categories...

Hi Julie - welcome to permies! I hope you stick around a bit there are plenty of like minded souls, even if they're not all on this side of the Atlantic!

Thanks Nancy. I'm definitely sticking around! I'm on page 5 of the seeds and breeding threads, I want to plant an orchard from seed and create a community project like AC! Haha!
Several names I recognise from Going to Seed, nice!
