Greetings all! I'm new to Permies.com, although have been an active researcher and experimenter for quite some time.

I've got a small but dedicated team working on a small-scale compressed earth block (CEB) press. It will be a manual press similar to the CINVA press, only with an improved leverage system which will provide a faster cycle time and higher delivered pressure to the soil mixture. The hydraulic presses are great, but very costly to build and are only financially viable if you are going into large scale block production (i.e. making blocks for many structures).

My goal is to provide free specs and plans for those who have access to basic metalworking equipment. If there is enough interest, I may even look at building them for sale.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here.

Cheers!

Lovely!

I've built a CINVA Ram*, so this topic is near and dear to me. Can't wait to see what you've got!

*Sonofagun... my thread right here on Permies is the #1 Google result for "cinva ram". I believe I'm internet famous now.
