spent grease in Black Soldier Fly bin

my aunt threw spent cooking grease from frying into Black Soldier Fly bin is it broken now? should i fish it all out it isnt soupy but it does look gross and greasy now.

Dig down into the bin and see if there are still plenty of live grubs. If so don't stress, they'll probably be fine. They are hard to kill! You could add some absorbent material to sequester the excess grease until they can process it....like shredded paper or grass. Coffee grounds are one of their favorite foods and if you dry these in the sun, they'll be absorbent too. Starbucks and Peet's Coffee often put out grounds in bags for giveaways.....a great resource if you are near either of these.....
