OUR REGION OUR FUTURE

Hi Everyone,
I want to discuss with you today a concept of involving elderly with the youth, more specifically in my own way of doing things, that being involving my photography from the region as means of education. Also the curriculum of the event would also involve a creative aspect of setting up tables and writing utensils, maybe some other cues for helping creativity and imagination, so that under the gentle guidance of elderly kids with support from senior citizens as well as educator girls around(young women in experience in creative fields who have the right pedagogical supportive and empathetic attitude towards kids in helping them expressing themselves), and basically I would pose some questions and prepare some exercises so based on the first part of the event that presents in artistic form (of my eye-catching photography) of where we are, and ask them the question: where we could be? How would you like your future and community look like when you grow up?

So the idea is to have participatory visionary community event that interconnects generations.

At the moment I'm lacking a bit of a personnel to do it, but at least I'm calcifying my vision for such a
workshop/event/educational program and of course a little merch

Involving the elderly as role models for kids is a great idea.

Having events also is a great idea.

So how would you go about getting funds to do this?

Do you have a plan to target a specific group of elderly or kids?

yes, yes

well, I've been already testing a little the idea and I had some traction,
but I just didn't want to commit yet at the time,

so in short its a matter of some print outs and its not that expensive and I have budget for that. First is to approach of elderly who are just hanging around in public places in sunny days in my chosen area of operation and it starts with a conversation, and presenting my photography and then presenting the idea that I have this vision for open gallery, and I would ask the targeted elder if they have friends who would be also interested, then I would just make bigger prints and prepare some displays, initially event can be small, but if it works and gains traction, I get to get some sales, its not difficult to scale it up and make it more formal and professional.

Murder? Well, I guess everybody has to have a hobby. Murder seems intense for a tiny ad.
