I just got off the phone with the call-before-you-dig guys. I'm planning on planting a couple apple trees in my front yard - I'm thinking I'd really like a granny smith tree and a fuji apple tree. I'm a complete novice, hoping to get the trees and plant before the end of this month, under the impression this is an ok time to plant in the pacific northwest. Any advice for a first-time tree-tender?
