Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone knows the breed, or types of breeds that may have created these pigs. They have a very elongated head and snout, small body, weighing in at 40kg at 2y and 4 months. I got them for my hubby's birthday. Perfect size for our small 25 acre farm. We are in QLD, AUS.
Hi Milo,
Thanks for your reply. We are very unsure of their breed. The elongated head and snout, plus large head has us stumped. They are a form of mini pig - albeit a large type. I have been searching many sites, but the head and snout doesn't seem to match anything i've seen. Thanks again.
In AUS, there are many of the Wessex Saddlebacks, and many feral hogs.
Perhaps somebody's Saddleback met Mr. Wild Boar?
The one on the left looks to me like it has a bit of the 'wild' in its head shape.
