Are you PDC certified and looking to spread your knowledge?  We are a new sustainable community and school seeking others to enhance our students’ experiences.  If you are able to certify others, we are looking for you.  Please send Curriculum Vitae or Résumé along with a brief description of your future plans and goals.  Applicants must be Costa Rican or must have lived in the country for a minimum of 6 months.  English required, Spanish preferred. This is a salaried position with ownership percentage possible for the right candidate.

phreespirit,

Your offer is very interesting to me, but I don't currently meet all your criteria.  I am PDC certified (in addition to being a licensed landscape architect here in the states) and my goal is to put my skills into practice...learn by doing...work with others and share what I've learned (including teaching).  I am about to participate in a permaculture "teacher training" program which will start in a couple weeks.  I wasn't sure if you were aware of this by your post, but PDC certification does not mean a person can "certify" others.  They do need to have their teacher training certificate as well (to be legit).

Regarding Costa Rica, I chose to live in the area after my initial PDC course, and was there for 4 months (Jan-Apr. 2009), so I am pretty familiar with the Ticos, and now have several friends and contacts around the country.  While I was there, I took an introductory immersion Spanish course, and while I don't currently know the language, I at least have the ball rolling in that direction.  I love the country, the scenery, the flora and fauna, as well as the people.

If you feel like I'm close enough to meeting your needs (now or at some point in the near future), let me know and we can discuss your needs in more detail.  Otherwise, best of luck in your endeavors and perhaps we can meet sometime down the road.  Either way, I am curious what part of the country you are located in?

David

Sorry David for not completely answering your questions.  We are in the Canton of Osa, up on a mountain overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
